and operated.

Princess Anna Conda.

is comprised of about 80 women divided in four
teams: Black-Eye Susans, Dreadnought Dorothys,
The Knockouts and Victory Vixens.

skate on quad speed skates and are required
to wear protective helmet, mouth guard, wrist
guards and knee and elbow pads.

The Dispatch-Tribune and The Pitch. Roller Warriors
also have been guests on several radio shows,
including the Johnny Dare Show on 98.9 The Rock.

bout takes about 30 volunteers. This includes
referees, production crew members, announcers,
score keepers, ticket takers, merchandise staff,
and security guards.
The Kansas City Roller Warriors
formed its first All-Star team in winter 2005 and
competed in its first interleague bouts in February
2006 at the Dust Devil Flat-Track Tournament
in Tucson, Ariz.
In February 2007 the Kansas City Roller Warriors All-Star team was ranked fifth in the western region upon entering the "Dust Devil" WFTDA Western Regional Championships. They were able to narrowly beat out the fourth seeded Tent City Terrors in a close 75-70 bout. Receiving a fourth place ranking after this win, the Roller Warriors were then eligible to attend the "Texas Shootout" WFTDA National Championships held at Austin, Texas in September 2007. The Kansas City Roller Warriors won their first bout in the tournament against the number one seed from the east region, Gotham Girls Roller Derby, 116-101. The second round brought the Carolina Rollergirls and Kansas City were victorious once again with a score of 116-108. The national championship bout was between the Kansas City Roller Warriors and Rat City Rollergirls. It was an extremely close bout, but the Roller Warriors defeated their third opponent in a row with a score of just 89-85, and the Kansas City Roller Warriors were crowned the 2007 WFTDA national champions!
