The Kansas City Roller Warriors, LLC, was established June 2004 and is skater owned and operated.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors donate time and money to area non-profit organizations.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors was founded by Brooke Leavitt – aka Dirty Britches – and Mandy Durham – aka Princess Anna Conda.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors is comprised of about 50 women divided in four teams: Black-Eye Susans, Dreadnought Dorothys, The Knockouts and Victory Vixens.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors skate on quad speed skates and are required to wear protective helmet, mouth guard, wrist guards and knee and elbow pads.

Every Kansas City Roller Warriors bout has had an attendance of at least 700 people with tickets costing $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children get in at a reduced rate.

Several media outlets have featured stories about The Kansas City Roller Warriors. The media outlets include: WDAF-TV Fox 4, KMBC-TV ABC, KSHB 38 the Spot, KMCI-TV NBC, Metro Sports, KCTV 4, Cable Channel 6 – Lawrence, The Lawrence Journal-World, The Kansas City Star, The Dispatch-Tribune and The Pitch. Roller Warriors also have been guests on several radio shows, including the Johnny Dare Show on 98.9 The Rock.

Concession sales increase by about 70 percent at the Winnwood Skate Center during the bouts of the Kansas City Roller Warriors. Pabst Blue Ribbon beer sales increased by about 50 percent when the company sponsored drink specials at a Kansas City Roller Warrior fundraiser.

A Kansas City Roller Warriors bout takes about 30 volunteers. This includes referees, production crew members, announcers, score keepers, ticket takers, merchandise staff, and security guards.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors formed its first All-Star team this winter and competed in its first interleague bouts in February at the 2006 Dust Devil Flat-Track Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.

The Kansas City Roller Warriors supports local band and entertainers. Some of the groups that have been involved at bouts or fundraisers include: The Dirty Q-Tips, The Marching Cobras, The Last Call Girls and Emma Feel.
Kansas City Roller Warriors sponsors include Rodger Dodger Aviation, Birdies and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
