Memorial Hall - With the home season behind them, The Roller Warriors put on the spandex leotards and laced up their skates for the '80's fitness themed co-ed scrimmage. The crowds are never all that large for these events but it's all for fun so those that show up just go with it. Just to let you in on a little secret folks, you can bring your own beer to these events as long as it's not in a glass container. With that in mind, crack open a cold one, prop your feet up and read on.
The first game was all female. They were split off into Team Fonda and Team Simmons. Team Simmons managed to dominate the game, leading 74 to 49 at Halftime and finally 161 to 132. At Halftime, Madame McBomb was presented with the Best Dressed Female award and Commander Chronos won for the Male. When the action got back under way, this time the men came out and joined the ladies and it was Team Fonda who would be taking the lead this time. They spanked Team Simmons 208 to 182. Stay tuned in July as The All-Stars and Plan B hit the road to Lincoln, Nebraska to play The No Coast Derby Girls on the 23rd and on the 30th The Junior Warriors will start their season at Memorial Hall.
